Wildlife Art Commissions
I specialise in creating one of a kind Wildlife Art Commissions. Each commission is lovingly hand painted to capture the spirit and energy of the subject.
I take great pride in my work and each commission is tailored to your requirements. I love to hear clients reactions when they see their commission for the first time.
I'm able to create your commission from your own photos, or can provide a selection of copyright free wildlife photos for you to choose from. If you are supplying your own photos, please see separate Photo Guide to help you take and choose the best photos.
I'm happy to send you work in progress photos of your commission. If you would like me to email some work in progress photos, please let me know at the time of ordering your commission.
I work with watercolour, acrylic, ink, pastel, and mixed media in both traditional and contemporary styles. I'm happy to advise on the best medium for your commission.
I use only the finest quality archival materials to ensure your commission lasts for decades to come.
Although there is plenty of information on my website, if you need some help or have a specific question e.g. how long is my waiting list? Can I order a different size/shape to those shown, please contact me by using the form on the contact page or email me here
The most important step is to book your slot!
How to book
Commissioning a painting is a very individual process. I'm happy to discuss your requirements before starting your painting.
The first step is to choose your reference photos. These need to be clear high quality photos of the subject. A close up of the eyes is a must! Please read the Photo Guide to help you take and choose the best photos.
Once you have chosen your photos, contact me via the contact page or by email here to have a chat about your requirements. If you are unsure about the size/medium of your commission, I'm happy to provide help and advice to make sure your commission is exactly what you want.
Book your slot! When you are happy to go ahead, I will require a 50% non-refundable deposit to add you to my schedule. If your commission is required for a certain date e.g. Birthday, Christmas, Anniversary then please contact me as early as possible to make sure I can meet your deadline. Whilst it normally takes 2 weeks to paint your commission, the wait list can be 8 weeks at certain times of the year.
I will prepare a mock up and send an email to show you how it will look. I take work in progress photos of your commission as I go, if you would like me to email some work in progress photos please let me know.
When your commission is complete, I will email you a photo for your approval. Once you are 100% happy, I will ask for the final payment. Payment must be made before your commission is shipped.
Once payment is confirmed, I will post your commission to you. These are carefully and well packaged flat. They are sent by special delivery via Royal Mail. Postage within the UK using Royal Mail Special Delivery is included.
If you have any further questions, please email me here, I'm is always happy to answer any questions and help with guidance if you are unsure what type of commission you would like.
