The perfect gift for the pet owner who LOVES their pet more than anything!
I specialise in creating unique pet portraits. Each pet portrait is lovingly hand painted to capture the personality of your cherished pet.
I take great pride in my work and each pet portrait is hand painted with the finest quality professional archival materials. These make a timeless gift that will last for decades to come.
I'm able to create your pet portrait from photos. Please see separate Photo Guide to help you take and choose the best photos.
I'm happy to send you work in progress photos of your pet portrait. If you would like me to email some work in progress photos, please let me know at the time or commissioning your pet portrait.
I work with watercolour, pastel, ink and mixed media in both traditional and contemporary styles. I'm happy to advise on the best medium for your pet portrait.
Although there is plenty of information on my website, if you need some help or have a specific question e.g. how long is my waiting list? Can I order a different size/shape to those shown, please contact me by using the form on the contact page or email me here
The most important step is to book your slot!
How to book
Commissioning a pet portrait is a very individual process. I'm happy to discuss your requirements before starting your pet portrait.
The first step is to choose your reference photos. These need to be clear high quality photos of the head and shoulders, not the full body. A close up of the eyes is a must! Please read the Photo Guide to help you take and choose the best photos.
Once you have chosen your photos, contact me via the contact page or by email here to have a chat about your requirements. If you are unsure about the size/medium of your pet portrait, I'm happy to provide help and advice to make sure your pet portrait is exactly what you want.
Book your slot! When you are happy to go ahead, I will require a 50% non-refundable deposit to add you to my schedule. If your pet portrait is required for a certain date e.g. Birthday, Christmas, Anniversary then please contact me as early as possible to make sure I can meet your deadline. Most custom pet portraits are completed within 6 weeks or sooner. I may be able to offer a quicker turnaround time, please get in touch here.
I will prepare a digital mock up and send an email to show you how it will look. I take work in progress photos of your pet portrait as I go, if you would like me to email some work in progress photos please let me know.
When your pet portrait is complete, I will email you a photo for your approval. Once you are 100% happy, I will ask for the final payment. Payment must be made before your pet portrait is shipped.
Once payment is confirmed, I will post your pet portrait to you. This will be carefully and well packaged flat and sent by special delivery via Royal Mail. Postage within the UK using Royal Mail Special Delivery is included.
If you have any further questions, please email me here, I'm always happy to answer any questions and help with guidance if you are unsure what type of pet portrait you would like.
